Uno debe persistentemente indagar “quién” está teniendo todo tipo de pensamientos que van surgiendo, hasta que finalmente el “pensamiento yo” se destruye y queda solamente el Ser no-dual. En esa condición de realización , no existe el “yo”, ni sufrimientos, sino sólo paz, silencio y beatitud absoluta. Uno debe mantenerse extremadamente alerta y no dejar que la mente divague. Las diversas disciplinas sobre la respiración, meditación, repetición de los nombres de Dios, etc., son solamente prácticas auxiliares y ayudan a que la mente se vuelva unidireccional. Así la mente se fortalece y la indagación del yo puede llevarse a cabo constantemente y sin represión o violencia.
